Little brothers' heading for the Big Time

My brothers have broadcast their first "official" internet radio show: Fantasy Football and College Football picks on the Football-Pickers Radio Show

If you listen carefully, you can hear me. I'm the moderator, trying to keep them moving along. It's a 30-minute show and these guys can spend 30 minutes on the most obscure tight-end in the NFL if you give them a chance, so my job is to just keep them moving along.

My brothers, the guys running a new football picks website, started an internet radio show this past week. Their first test show went so well that we decided to post it for the public and jump right in with both feet next week. You can check out the kickoff show and you'll hear me from time to time, not adding any value whatsoever beyond a couple of funny soundboard bits. Hope you enjoy and stick around!

My Poker Game

Oh man, I had a to-do item for today that said "Write a post about my poker game".

Fuuuuuuuuck.

What game? I'm playing some seriously shitty tight-weak poker right now. Gotta shake it off, but I'm getting creamed by 2 and 3 outers, and running pairs into overpairs hand after hand, so I just expect to get bad luck and fold. Anyone that has played with me the past few weeks knows I'm playing scared. Gotta shake it off.

So, now I can at least scratch through this item on my to-do list, such as it is.

What a crappy week. I got to the first break with the chip-lead in Pauly's tournament, then remembered the company changed the date of an inventory to directly conflict with Borgata tournament. Remembering that totally tilted me, and I pissed off my chips. I'd have lost anyway, but I didn't like the way I lost. Then on Wednesday the first hand flies out at the Mookie just as someone in my family gives me world-shattering news. I was completely lost the whole tournament, something I'm sure everyone that I played with could see.

Finally, I open my email today to find that my 9-year old daughter has found her way to imagechef and created some images for my blogs, including this one:


Which begs the question of whether or not she's read this blog. Suddenly, the things I thought were funny when she was 5 and watching The Wiggles, don't seem as funny anymore.
